How NOT to Have a Great Life: Part 1

When you get to a place in your life where you see that things need to change – – – and you don’t take action – – -the result is devastating.

You dive deeper into negative habits that keep your attention away from your misery. You may watch more Netflix, eat more junk food, sleep too much, or drink more alcohol. 

That is the power of denial. 

That is the power of fear. 

What is this fear about?

The fear that you might choose the wrong thing to tackle first? 

The fear that other people will judge you? 

The fear that you can’t sustain your action long enough to make a difference?

Or something else? 

The thing is, you don’t have time to do this later. All you have in your life is now. 

That’s the big lie that people buy into. That you have plenty of time.  You don’t. This is it. 

Today is Your Life

Decide what you want to change first. If you spend even one day in indecision about where to start, decide that you will sit in silence for five minutes a day. 

That’s all.

Just Five Minutes

Sit and listen to yourself breathe for five minutes a day. 

It’s the first baby step to meditation. Meditation is the habit that will improve your mind, body, and spirit all at the same time. 

I believe it is the most powerful thing you can do to start your trajectory of reclaiming your life.
